Coach Promises to ‘Look at the Tape,’ Then Stares at Roll of Athletic Tape for Three Hours

Following a 31–10 loss, the head coach told reporters he would “look at the tape” before drawing any conclusions, then reportedly spent three hours staring at a roll of athletic tape on his desk.
“He was really locked in,” said an assistant. “Every so often he’d turn it a little and nod, like it was telling him something.”
The coach later said the tape had shown “some things we can clean up.”
